 Namsangol Hanok Village is a good tourist site to experience korean traditional culture. Namsan mountain is located in the south of the capital, which is why it has been called Namsan. Because of the beautiful landscape, our ancestors used to visit there and enjoy art of all kinds - drawing, writing, playing misocal instruments, etc. Namsan traditional garden has valley, pond and pavilions which were restored in their original shape. in the village, there are five restored traditional house of the joseon period,  which have been moved from their original places in seoul area.
Visitors can experience wearing hanbok, making hanji craft and attending  traditional etiquette class and Dayre (Korean tea ceremony) class. Especially in seouo Namsan traditional theater, they can watch traditional Korean performances such as Korean music performance, madanggeuk, mask dance, and samul nori. 
Every weekend, there are traditional culture experience classes about mini-Jangseung, mini-sotdae, mokpyeon and straw craft. On traditional holidays like seol and chuseok, the village is crowded with people who come to enjoy folk games -tuho, top-spinning, kite flying, Jegichagi, neolttwigi, yutnori, etc
